Dr. Manderson earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at Johns Hopkins University. He became board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in 1977. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Manderson has been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He has also served as Chief of Orthopedics at D.C. General Hospital and as a Clinical Instructor at Howard University.
Specializing in sports injury recovery and rehabilitation, arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery, and the treatment of complex trauma, fractures, and spine, shoulder, knee, and ankle conditions, Dr. Manderson is recognized for his commitment to improving patient outcomes through both surgical precision and compassionate care. He also holds multiple patents for orthopedic surgical and fixation systems.
