The goal of the Elrod Pope Legacy Scholarship is to honor the law firm’s history and support the Carolinas’ future leaders. It is named after Luke Elrod and Jack Leader, whose integrity, dedication to the law, and service to their communities continue to inspire the law firm today.
By awarding the $5,000 scholarships, the firm seeks to inspire the next generation to pursue careers rooted in excellence, service, and purpose, and ensure that Luke’s and Jack’s legacy endures. To compete for one of the scholarships, a student must:
Be an eligible student in South Carolina or North Carolina.
Complete the application form.
Submit a minimum 1,000-word essay on the issue of drunk driving among young adults.
